Your first consultation will consist of a general questionnaire, taking note of any current medical conditions or recent injuries. An assessment will be made of your injury or the condition requiring treatment. Postural, work or lifestyle factors will also be taken into consideration. These are often very important factors in the future management of your injury. Following this your treatment session will be discussed so that you are happy with the techniques that will be used. Please wear loose comfortable clothing for your appointment you may prefer to wear shorts during the consultation and treatment.

For the Guided Injury Recovery and Prevention an initial consultation will enable a specific exercise programme to be created utilising state of the art Physiotherapy software. A programme of visits to the Aviemore Fitness Facility will then be offered where our Sports Therapist will accompany you onto the Gym machines.

All registered Sports and Remedial Therapists must follow high standards of professional conduct and behaviour. Under the terms of their registration they must also commit to undertaking continuing professional development.
